Staff of Federal Teaching Hospital, Katsina, Department of Haematology and Blood Transfusion, Paediatric Haemato-Oncology Unit in collaboration with Sickle Cell Home Katsina and Partners marked World Sickle Day at the Federal Teaching Hospital Katsina Conference Room on the 17th of June, 2022.

The World Sickle Cell Day was commemorated with the theme " SICKLE CELL DISORDER: IMPORTANCE OF SELF CARE ” 

The event featured various discussions regarding sickle cell; prevention and personal care for sickle cell warriors by different experts in the field of discuss.
